Edward Maynard
Edward was born in 1821/22 in Alveston. In the 1841 census he was living as a lodger with a family in Stratford.
In 1851 he married Nancy Wilson (b. 1828) in West Bromwich, Staffordshire.
In the 1851 census Edward and Nancy were living with Nancy's mother Hannah Wilson and some of her children in West Bromwich.
Their son Edward S was born 1856 in Smethwick.
The family then moved to Harbourne and other children were:-
Henry born 1863 (1881 census Henry was still at home now age 18 - he died in Dudley in 1884)
Clara born 1865
Emma born 1869
In the 1891 census Edward (now 69) was living in Tipton with his daughter Emma (now 22)
In the 1901 census Edward (now 79) was living with his son Edward & family in Tipton.
